Technical Solution Manager - Frankfurt a. M. (GER)
A Technical Solution Manager is needed for our client, a prestigious international Telecommunication Company, on contract basis in Germany. Work eligibility is required for the application.
Desired skills and experience:
- Demonstrable knowledge on IP Networking technologies, eg. routing protocols, MPLS, VPLS, IPVPN, etc.
- Proven ability to partner with service providers and develop new business models for service subscribers using new technologies.
- Proven ability to manage customer accounts in cooperation with Sales management technical level.
- Detailed knowledge of carrier business models and service management strategies.
- Familiar with other vendors' IP Network products
- Previous hands on experience
- Driving product management to prioritize customer requirements as input to product roadmaps, including generating of detailed feature request documents as references for product management and development units.
Requirements:
- Independent, responsible individual with strong team spirit and enthusiasm
- Very good communication and organizational skills
- Several years experience in a similar function, last 2 being on a similar position
- Experience in GSMR preferred
- Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing
- PMI, IPMA or comparable project management certification preferred
- At least 5-7 years experience in managing large scale projects in Telecommunications or railway area
- Experience with the specific processes in the rail sector in German speaking environment.
The ideal candidate should be a Technical Solution Manager, fluent in German and English and must have MPLS, IP and transmission experience within the past 2 years. He/she must have demonstrated excellent experience in customer interfacing roles providing solutions on their network. He/she must have a good understanding of technical planning, networks and go in and provide solutions to the end client.
