Extra Technology is recruiting an ITRS Geneos Product Specialist to join our expanding monitoring team. Candidates will assist with the configuration, testing and deployment of a performance monitoring solution based on Geneos. Additionally, there will be a requirement to transform Legacy production monitoring solutions to Geneos.
Job Description
Customer facing role, developing new monitoring solutions, devising new standards and best practices, utilising Geneos. Engaging with customers and understanding their monitoring requirements.
Designing monitoring solutions:
- Collect
- Analyse
- Visualise
Implementing monitoring solutions:
- Using pre-configured interfaces and developing in-house integration (gateways/plugins)
- Rules, parameters and thresholds
- Dashboards
Supporting, maintaining and troubleshooting monitoring solutions. Providing documentation, guidance and knowledge transfer to customer support teams. Manage the promotion of Geneos configurations from Test to Production. Maintain and monitor the SLA database and integrate with customer's alerting/reporting systems.
Job Requirements
Candidates are expected to come from a technical development or senior support background.
Experience within an enterprise environment using the Geneos.
UNIX, Windows and Sybase experience.
ITIL/best practice service context.
Experience of working in the banking sector.

Rate: euro; 500 - euro; 800 per day
