Senior Project Manager: Cash market trading/Financial Services/PMI/Prince 2/Agile
My prestigious financial client in Eschborn is looking for a Senior Project Manager who has a track record of successfully delivering IT Projects of significant size and complexity on time and budget to join their team.
The multi-year Project will be split into 3 phases with go-live after each phase. Within each release, development will be done in iterations (each 4 months). After each iteration reviews of deliverables and estimations are planned (possible break points)
Key skills:
- Experienced Project Manager
- Business domain knowledge in cash market trading, financial services
- Sound knowledge and experience in industry PM Methodology (PMI/Prince 2/Agile)
- Experience in modern software development methodology eg applications migration/re-platform/upgrade including infrastructure migrations
- Extensive experience working in a client facing role on executive level
- Experience in senior level consulting, business analysis reviews to resolve complex integration and facilitate effective information exchange between business and technical project teams
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Successful track record in near/offshoring projects
- Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
Responsibilities:
The IT Project Manager is fully responsible for the successful end to end delivery of the project which includes:
- Deliver all results of the requirements, specifications, system development and testing phases (IT internal product test, business user acceptance as well as member simulation and roll-out) within time, scope quality and budget
- Define and manage the scope from initiation which may also include various sub projects of size and complexity
- Ensure architectural compliance with CTO standards
- Apply for a fit-for-purpose Sourcing Approach balancing time-to-market, quality and efficiency
- Define the Project Organisation (roles, responsibilities), Governance, work break down structure and allocate of work packages, establish regular reporting
- Lead and control all stages of the project life cycle from initiation, design, delivery and post implementation, adhering to project methodologies and best practices.
- Coordination of system adaptions in surrounding systems as well as partner exchanges.
- Strict Scope and Change Management
- Management of near-/off-shore teams
- Direct the delivery of the project through active sponsorship, stake holder management, leadership to ensure they meet scope, time, cost and quality requirements
- Effectively manage project and business risks covering the entire program.
- Implement an effective reviews, reporting and presentation structure along the standards within DBG
- Work closely with Business Sponsor and Head of Trading IT
- Ensure Correct Project Documentation is adhered and maintained to defined Internal Standards and audit requirements.
- Ensure correct budget and cost management including forecasting and consistent reporting
