For one of our clients based in Berlin, we're searching for a test lead with specific experience in the mobile phone area + Streaming, web applications etc.. I have copied in the spec below :The test lead, drives the all the Test and Quality initiatives across all our activities including the implementation of a quality management system. With an extensive in-house Test and QA team, this role will coach and oversee how the various product teams inside. Implement the required test and quality standards to Customers in the B2B and Consumer space. This includes the strategy, planning, development and execution of all testing methods, processes, tools, and systems. You will also be required to continue to manage; and where necessary, source near or offshore partners to facilitate the need to scale specific test activities. Your team will comprise internal QA (in-scrum) engineers and specialized in-house testers. With the required level of seniority and authority, this role will champion Test and Quality as an inherent principle and discipline of the development process.
Main responsibilities will be to:
*Work with theLeadership Team to develop the Test and Quality strategy and management program
*Develops product team wide programs to raise employee awareness of the company's test and Quality management objectives
*Ensures that products meet industry-wide quality standards such as ISO, OHSAS, A-Spice etc.
*Works with quality assurance / testing engineers of the different product teams to apply policies, procedures and consistency
*Provides support for process document control management
*Responsible for Quality Systems Internal Audit process
*Establishes new or improved testing methods, processes, tools, and systems
*Champions quality as a principle and acts as a change agent
Desired Skills and Experience
*Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science required. Master's degree preferred
*Experience in managing quality management programs
*Excellent knowledge of government requirements and industry standards
*Excellent knowledge of company's software development design objectives and strategies
*Excellent organizational, leadership, human relations and communications skills.
