Data Centre Administrator/Data Centre Manager - Germany - 3 months+
Next Ventures are looking for Data Centre Administrator/Data Centre Manager for a global IT consultancy based in Hamburg, Germany
Position: Data Centre Administrator/Data Centre Manager
Primary Skills: Data Centre administration and management, Air Condition, Power supply, cooling, Electrical fault finding, visual checks
Secondary Skills: Windows Administration, VMware Administration, Wintel Administration
Duration: 3 months +
Location: Hamburg, Germany
As the Data Centre Administrator/Data Centre Manager your principle accountability will be to manage the day to day administration and coordinating the maintenance activities of a complex data centre.
To be considered for this position you will need to have demonstrable experience as a Data Centre Administrator/Data Centre Manager and possesses the following skills:
- Access control with facilities manager.
- Electrical faults identification with facilities manager.
- Aircon checks with facilities manager.
- Hygiene and Cleaning checks with facilities manager.
- Physical Security and evacuation during crisis with facilities manager.
- Telephony PBX visual checks for fault management
- Third party* (Scada/R&D) server visual checks for fault management.
- Third party* (External vendor) accompany for fault and change management.
- Rack visual checks for fault and change management.
- Server visual checks for fault and change management.
- Network. (Data Network only) visual checks for fault and change management.
- Storage visual checks for fault and change management.
- Backup media visual checks for fault and change management.
