Our client is an international company.Delivery of Business Design Analyst function to support delivery of change (70%)
o Design: As part of the delivery of business change, the Business Design Analyst will:
o Lead business design and business analysis functions on projects
o Engage with business-side clients early in the change project in order to:
o produce clear sets of business requirements to inform work in the project Design phase
o Develop and explore innovative options to address business requirements
o Support business case development in support of designs
o Oversee the delivery of pragmatic business and operational design solutions which maximise benefits while achieving the desired business outcomes
o Assess and design new business change processes, systems, products and services on a change project
o Plan Change: Ensure all governance, risk management, controls and compliance requirements are considered during development of requirements and designs
o Manage Change: Develop and implement new business change processes, systems, products and services on a change project. Provide an aggregate high level view of the combined proposed solutions and ensure alignment with the change solution. Manage interdependencies across projects/programmes and leverage synergies across projects/programmes to maximise return on investment. Review the to-be business process design to understand organisation/role impacts and create role descriptions for business process roles
o Build Executive Leadership and Commitment: Provide specialist, objective and analytical insight on all business design and analysis related activity on a change project. Lead / contribute (as appropriate) to Project and Programme Design Authorities
Governance and Risk (20%)
o Ensure that all Governance, risk management, control and Compliance request during the development of the request and designs are considered
Organisational Development (10%)
o Provide input into the ongoing development of Change Management tools and templates
o Actively share business design and business analysis methods knowledge (eg skills, tools, methods) with other resources within the Business Design Analyst community
- Provide effective leadership and management of the Business Design Analyst function on business change projects
- Sound knowledge of requirement analysis and process design
- Strong communications, presentation and moderation skills and ability to place self in the shoes of the intended audience:
- Experience of the processes required to implement software solutions in a consumer finance (credit card; loans; deposits) environment
- Influencing / networking - developing internal and external business relationships and using own knowledge, skills and experience to influence others opinions and actions
- Analysis, creativity and innovation - able to conceive original and practical solutions to complex and business critical problems
- Understand at a high level the interface between complex business needs and the complex legal and regulatory environment in which the business operates
- Ability to juggle priorities, multi- task and flawlessly execute at speed
- Sound commercial judgment and overall understanding of the Financial Services Industry, particularly the business impact of the regulatory environment
- Basic knowledge of project management methodology
- Experience in supporting projects and deliverables into a matrix organization with several service providers and third parties on an international level, ideally in a global company
- Proficient with MS software suite, including MS Project
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
- Knowledge of systems and processes used in Banking IT / ops working practices, tools and techniques (to ensure correct interpretation between business and system requirements)
- An appreciation of the technical applications utilised in a software implementation
- Good understanding of basic IT Infrastructure standards and common architectures
- Capability to deep dive and understand complex IT System setups
