Job Description for Service desk (SD)
The successful candidate must have a good understanding of technology(windows, network, desktops/laptops support, storage etc) and have worked in a process oriented support structure(ITIL). They must be proactive, and must develop that initial connect with users quickly and be able to resolve first level incidents relating to EUC, user access problems on Servers, group permissions, etc. Have a high level overview of the tasks performed in the Service DeskAnti-Virus Management (configuration, monitoring, reporting)Service Desk (Verifying IT requests, Outlook, Windows XP +7, View Clients, printing, VPN, BlackBerry, installation, on-site support)Asset Management (Inventory, initial setup of machines, reviewing and updating HW standards, maintaining server rooms)Ticket System Administration (Maintaining/updating workflow,
