Excellent opportunity for a Technical Support Analyst to provide client facing support to a high profile client. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support and assist with 3rd line Project based work as required.

The role will be based in Cologne with travel to Antwerp and Luxembourg as required. You must be based in Cologne, have fluent written and spoken German (native ideally sought) as well as having fluent written and spoken English. You must hold a full driving licence.

You will need strong proven experience in a client facing role with experience in delivering services to agreed SLA's and KPI's. You will need strong problem diagnosis skills and technical capability, excellent client facing and customer service skills. You should have good grounding in best practise.

You should have skills in the following areas with a good mix of skills backed by server experience:
- Windows XP/7 and Office 2007
- VMware vSphere/vCenter 4.1 (ESX & ESXi)
- Windows Server R2 - Active Directory
- Exchange 2007
- Good storage fundamentals (Dell Equal logic)
- Good networking fundamentals - Cisco, Juniper, HP
- Blackberry Enterprise Server (5.0)
- Enterprise Vault (8.0)
- Server hardware - Dell
- Symantec Backup Exec 2010
- Citrix XenApp - Basic Administration

Cerifications around ITIL or ISO in relation to Quality and Service management would be ideal
