Location: Dusseldorf/Germany/London
Germany 3 Month rolling Contract
Per day Euros Market Rates

As the Service Lifecycle Manager, you will be accountable for the product life cycle management of the Data & Content services for all markets, with appropriate service levels, safe-guarding the delivery. In addition, the Service Lifecycle Manager is expected to oversee and track continuous service improvements to forecasting, deployment and operations for these services to maximise financial and competitive advantage for the client.

Main responsibilities will involve:

* Contributing to the development and delivery of the functional strategy and business plans for the applications
* Specifying the relevant SLA-defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the services owned
* Managing and tracking budget and costs for the specific services
* Being the Escalation Manager for Data & Content Services and point of contact during escalations for the most senior role within a major function in a business segment (Band D/E managers)
* Managing effectively the support unit which is responsible for the day-to-day support and operations activities
* Being the customer facing contact in delivering the operations and support services (systems, processes, products & services and reporting requirements) to key stakeholders within the allocated resources
* Monitoring and conducting periodic review with Suppliers and off shore teams relevant to the services.
* Seeking continuous service improvements in systems, processes, products & services and reporting, from an end-to-end service perspective, in line with current technology and business practices
* Approving Change Requests that has operations budget impact

Key Skills, Experience, Duties.

* Min. 5 years of experience in IT service provisioning (preference in the telecommunication industry)
* Demonstrated capability/competence in leading and managing a team
* Broad experience and knowledge of mobile Internet communication, services and integrations
* Deep understanding of operational procedures and process standards (eg ITIL)
* Well-developed technical knowledge across a broad range of IT topics
* Broad Experience in conducting contract negotiations with customers and suppliers
* Ability to work in an international environment and manage an international team
* Presents complex information in a way that others find simple to understand
* Experience in managing remote and virtual teams
* Ability to accomplish goals
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven team player
* Strong decision making skills
* Fluent English
