SAP Manufacturing Consultant (PP-PI/MM)
My client is looking for a consultant with the following experience:
Tasks
- The Senior Consultant Manufacturing is responsible for the further enhancement of the implemented manufacturing functionality ensuring that it is aligned with Business Plans and IT Strategy.
- Design and steer the development in related area of SAP applications and reporting
- Related 3rd party systems
- § Interfaces
- § Cross system processes
- § Requirement and design management with 3rd party provider
- Consulting for business regarding manufacturing related applications and functional solutions
- Align business requirements with the implemented IT template
- Gatekeeper for the manufacturing related template solutions
- Develop Functional Designs based on business requirements
- Align solution across other functional areas or affected systems
- Coordinate delivery process for internal or external build
- Quality gate for developed objects
- Functional unit testing
- Coordinate Integration/Regression testing
- Provide functional approval for transport into production system
- Coordinate putting into operation for developed objects
- Related business contacts
- Affected other IT Application areas
- Master data management
- IT Delivery
- Related 3rd party providers
- Extensive professional experience in SAP MM, PP-PI, QM, PM, PS
- Customizing
- ABAP workbench
- Collaboration
Skills required
- SAP EHS appreciated
- Extensive professional experience with interfaces to local manufacturing systems (MES, LIMS etc.)
- Strong business process background, with solid understanding of industry best practices SAP solutions.
- Microsoft Sharepoint appreciated
- SAP consultant in the required functional and process areas in chemical industry or process industry for more than 8 years
- Project management in several projects or experience as team lead in steady state organization
- Graduate as economist or comparable qualification
- Professional experience related business function (eg production planner, production accountant, quality control, plant maintenance, engineering etc.) appreciated
