Quality EngineeringFocal for all Quality Matters for the Project Liaison with both the Customer and Suppliers Escalation of quality issues and focal point for quality escapes in the program (8D-Reports) Support of project team to manage corrective / preventative Actions
Creation of Product Quality Plan Ensure compliance to all Quality Requirements (how we will ensure the product satisfies customer requirements) Creation of Inspection Plans (focal point to inspection planning) for internal processes and incoming control
Creation of Project Quality Assurance Plan Assure KC by sufficient inspection with gauges and jigs Conduct of process capability of all inspections Evaluation of product and process change to customer requirements
Creation of First Article inspection Plan Management of FAI requirements in the supply chain including supporting suppliers in producing FAI Reports
Customer Quality Requirements Implementation and Maintenance Responsible to ensure all customer process approvals / Qualifications are in place internally and in the Supply Chain
Manage Customer Audits and any Corrective Actions Conduct internal audits (product / system to ensure customer requirements) and external supplier audits for qualification and release of supplier
Application of quality tools (FMEA, RCCA) and use of Continuous Improvement Techniques
MRB management Introduction of concession process Support to Concession reduction plans
Support Internal and Customer Programme Reviews for Quality Regular reports from Non - conformities and concession issue State of quality plan and quality assurance plan (risks and opportunities in point of quality view) Report of open and not solved quality issues or actions
Professional skills and competencies:
Quality auditor AS9100 / Part 21 G / 145
Necessary other Qualities:
Good Knowledge of Aerospace Quality Requirements and processes Good written and Spoken English (Customer is American and key suppliers in the UK) Decision making (Ability to use sound judgement)
