Our client is looking for an experienced Bi-Lingual Test Engineer for Signal Generators to be based in Munich, Germany:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of various fully automated systems for testing of signal generators using modern measurement equipment ( spectrum analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc.). In addition, the independent definition and implementation of new test scenarios for various digital standards (LTE, WLAN, GNSS, etc. ). Optimization of the test systems with respect to test time and maintenance costs and find creative solutions for testing channel simulated signal.
Your qualifications:
- Relevant professional experience in communications, navigation technology and/or radar applications - at least 3 years of experience in RF test equipment (signal generator, Spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope)
- Experience in dealing with the usual modelling tools for signal processing, such as MATLAB, Simulink, as well as experience in Labview and/or Labwindows
- Basic knowledge of the physical layer of modern communication standards (eg UMTS, WLAN, GPS)
- Advanced programming skills in C/C + + and script programming skills eg Perl
- Good English and German language skills in speaking and writing
- Advanced knowledge of Digital Signal Processing
- Knowledge of RF technology
It is anticipated you will have a valid work permit or visa to live and work in Germany.
