Title: Insurance Business Analyst
Location: Dusseldorf
Salary: up to 52,000 + Benefits

My client is an insurance broker who has been established for over 20 years. Deemed a leader and innovator in their field and have been nominated for numerous awards in the past.
They are looking for an insurance business analyst with a can do attitude to join the team who will be responsible for a business critical projects and working closely with the in-house development team.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Extensive experience working in the insurance sector, ideally general but other areas considered.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external and internal client representatives, in pursuit of a strong and on-going understanding of their business objectives and associated systems requirements.
- Lead client workshops to collaboratively establish needs and identify solutions.
- Detect challenges with processes currently in place, seek opportunities for improvement and present associated recommendations to clients.
- Work on multiple assignments simultaneously, effectively balancing a mixture of major project and smaller BAU (e.g. change request) responsibilities.
- Work effectively within project teams following either a traditional waterfall or agile (Scrum) approach to the client project. When working within a Scrum team, provide support to the Product Owner in the shaping and management of the Product Backlog.
- Contribute to the Business Analysis community of practice, supporting the Lead Business Analyst in the continuous improvement of the processes, techniques and practices the team employs, and sharing knowledge with the team.
Skills/Person
Primary Skills (Essential):
- A proven track record (at least 4 years) in the role of Business Analyst within the insurance industry, translating business requirements into software solutions, is essential.
- A good of understanding of the software solutions and the software development life cycle. Prior insurance software experience, working in a client-facing role, will be a distinct advantage.
