MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:• Ensures planning and coordination of all engineering related tasks (design, testing, validation, FMEA, DFMA, Design to Cost, roadmaps, gate reviews) for camera based advanced driver assistance systems in commercial vehicles (e.g. Lane departure Warning)
• Tracking of all engineering roadmaps within project, support gate reviews
• Engineering representative in project steering group(s) and thus reporting to project manager and to functional leader
• Technical interface to OE customer and/or sub-supplier
EXPERIENCE:
• degree in mechanical, mechatronic or electrical engineering, especially with focus on automotive engineering
• experienced in project planning and coordination of automotive development projects
• at least 3 years of experience in product development within automotive industry
PROFILE:
• knowledge of/experience with MS Project
• knowledge of/experience with specification and design of automotive electronics
• knowledge of/experience with development of automotive electronics and software
• experienced in the use of automotive SPICE standard (ISO/IEC 15504)
• beneficial is experience in using MKS Requirements-Manager, Test-manager, Integrity-Manager
• highly experienced in using standard PC software (especially Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• good language skills in spoken and written English and German
• team work capabilities
INTERNAL INTERACTIONS:
• works in a project team, functionally reports to a project manager engineer and directly reports to an engineering team leader
