Principal Solution Architect - German Speaking
Required Experience:
- At least 20+ years of IT experience.
- At least 15+ years of experience in Telecom areas. Lead Architect/Pre Sales exp preferred
Expert in Telecom domain. OSS/BSS and understanding of all telecom tools.
Skills/technologies required:
- Transformation IT Strategy, Consulting, Architecture & Solutioning.
- Innovations & Emerging Trends in the Telecom world.
- Strong experience in the BSS/OSS Telco domain. Conversant with Solutioning, Pre Sales cutting across different pillars like IMS, ASM, BPM, Security, VAS.
- Communication skills at CXO level as well as at conceptual levels, ie towards Architects, Business representatives and
Steering Committee members.
- Strong capability to research and develop new solutions to meet business requirements (for technology and service architectures).
- Knowledge of various COTS product options for key Architectural domains (Best of the Breed and Tier 2 etc).
- Awareness and appreciation of various TMF frameworks such as eTOM, TAM, SID etc.
- Strong leadership skills, relationship building.
- OSS/BSS Architecture Transformation and Transition experience.
- Must have performed customer facing role at CXO level.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead on Solutioning and Pre-Sales for RFP/RFI responses.
- Farming/Hunting existing accounts in the region to explore new opportunities.
- Advise operators on how to improve their cycle time to launch products or resolve Customer Service Experience Issues
- Work with the account team and work out overall winning solution for the bids/pro-active propositions.
- Manage complex business transformation consulting engagements, develop strategies for services improvement, carve out the technicalities & roadmap for end to end delivery of B/OSS systems and change initiatives
- Advise operators on new growth areas such as Enterprise Mobility, M2M, Big Data Analytics, Real Time Business Intelligence and to save operational expenses through Shared services & Managed Services model
- Proactively bringing new and innovative technical solution to sourcing initiative. Ensuring that the documentation produced is compliant with client strategy and business requirements and capabilities.
- Lead, run and manage mega RFPs individually.
- Conversant with the software processes and methodologies (Agile, scrum etc)
- Mentoring Solutions Designers to groom them in Solutioning/Pre-Sales Status History
