The role:
The Activation Specialist function is responsible to ensure that the Application is successfully deployed by the Application Teams and the environment meets all of the Operational Guidelines for security, patching, and BCP standards. They are responsible for the ticket administration, BCP planning, Lifecycle Management and resource coordination between the Application, Operations, and Security Monitoring teams for transition into Operations Production Active Support.
Skillset:
• Strong Project management experience in technology
• Demonstrate ability to effectively manage and execute physical and virtual devices into data center environments
• Strong time management skills and effective at multi-tasking
• Comfortable with escalations and pressure environments
• Detailed oriented
• Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate priorities, delivery expectations, risks and concerns to multiple stakeholders
• Moderate understanding of end to end server provisioning, like networks, stacking and racking, hardware, storage, backups and databases
• Strong relationship management skills to build working relationships with our service providers like facilities, network deployment, server administrators, etc
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English

Duration: 6+ month - 1 year
