Next Ventures are urgently looking for an English speaking Desktop Support Engineer [Windows, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Desktop Infrastructure] for a global consultancy based in Konstanz, Germany. As the Desktop Support Engineer [Windows, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Desktop Infrastructure] you will be deployed on client site and be responsible for providing onsite technical support; predominantly focusing on developing the customer's desktop deployment and desktop infrastructure.
Key skills looked for:
- Proven experience of providing remote technical support
- troubleshooting hardware and operating systems related to Desktops and laptops
- Troubleshooting Windows operating systems, XP, windows 7, Windows 8, vista
- Advanced Remote troubleshooting skills on Windows operating systems, desktop applications and LAN troubleshooting and
- Knowledge on OS performance tuning.
- Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate with users at all levels
- Proven track record of successful project work
- Experience of supporting users
- Familiarity with the demands of a corporate IT environment
