- You are part of a smart and professional system administration team.
- We as a team try to ensure performance, high availability and scalability in our heterogeneous infrastructure.
- Besides the monitoring and development of an enterprise cluster of windows machines, you are supporting the users of the systems to scale up and keep their apps fast.
- Problem analysis, incident management and documentation are our daily tasks.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft technologies
- Experience in administration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, security, scalability topics in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of support concepts, tools, practices, and procedures within the client server scope
- Extensive knowledge of Windows 2008RC
- Knowledge of tcp, udp, ip, routing, vlan
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and high complexity; troubleshooting skills
- Capability of writing apps in Windows/Unix environment (e.g. logging app, packages, etc.)
- Knowledge of hardware, storage handling and planning
- Experience with Dynamics Nav 2009 (nice to have)
- Experience with huge databases (100G+) in SQL Server environment (nice to have)
- MCSE certificate (nice to have)
- Experience in large VMWare Clusters (nice to have)
- Knowledge of logging techniques (nice to have)
- Backup and recovery handling (nice to have)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (eg. icinga, cacti, etc) and experience with archiving strategies (nice to have)
