We have an urgent contract requirement for SAP BW Consultant for one of our client which is a big IT consulting organisation
Key Objectives:
- Opportunity to join a growing Business Intelligence practice in the UK as part a global consultancy.
- Develop and practice Business Intelligence skills within the context of large scale Business Transformation programs.
- Be part of COMPANY's global Business Intelligence capability.
- Work with a development manager from the capability to define and progress personal goals and objectives within the context of the organization as a whole.
- Chance to learn from, leverage and contribute to Business Intelligence methodologies and best practice as defined globally.
- Analysis of business requirements.
- Design and implementation of full solutions.
- Identify integration issues and develop solutions to these issues.
- Coach and develop skills within a project team.
- Work effectively in mixed Client and Consultancy teams.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Extensive SAP BW/SEM implementation experience.
- Strong BW/SEM consulting/contracting experience.
- Minimum of 3 full BW/SEM project life cycles.
- Good high-level' functional knowledge of mySAP ERP modules eg Financials, Logistics and Human Resources.
- Ability to translate organizational goals and objectives into a coherent and validated statement of information requirements.
- Experience of managing a BW/SEM project life cycle.
- Detailed knowledge of BW/SEM Datamodelling best practice.
- Detailed knowledge of BW/SEM performance tuning techniques.
- Detailed understanding of the mySAP ERP data model - Desirable.
- Language skills or project experience outside the US - Desirable.
- Thorough appreciation of the strengths and weaknesses of SAP's Business Intelligence toolset relative to competitive offerings - Desirable.
- Understanding of, and experience of implementing within, a Performance Management Framework - Desirable.
- SEM-BCS implementation experience - Desirable.
- BEx Web and the implementation of Business Intelligence through Enterprise Portal - Desirable.
