We have an urgent contract requirement for SAP Data Manager with our client which is one of the big IT Consulting Organisation
Key Objectives:
- Manage and lead a data migration effort and work stream on COMPANY's business transformation programmes
- Accountable for COMPANY data migration deliverables on projects
- Agree data migration scope, and define data migration approach and design
- Responsible for the data migration delivery through the entire project life cycle (ie blueprint, realisation, testing, cutover, go-live)
- Responsible for the end-to-end data migration process (cleanse, extract, transform, load, reconcile)
- Manage COMPANY data migration consultants, client resources where applicable, and/or 3rd party resources
- Devise, manage and track, data cleansing and data readiness plans
- Coach and develop skills within a project team.
- Work effectively in mixed Client and Consultancy teams
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience in SAP and data migration projects and Managed a data migration work stream preferably on SAP implementations/rollouts, or a mixture of SAP and non-SAP programmes
- SAP experience is highly preferable, but not essential if candidate can demonstrate sufficient data migration & management skills on similar implementations (eg Oracle, etc)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead workshops to design technical solutions.
- Minimum 3 full project life cycles (Global Implementation Experience Preferred).
- Experience in drafting a cutover plan and manage its execution.
- Good cross-functional SAP knowledge.
- Strong client facing experience in the data management space and strong business/client facing skills, and ability to manage client team to deliver data related activities (eg cleansing, business reconciliation)
- Understanding and awareness of, or experience with ETL tools (prior hands-on experience is useful but not essential), such as BODS, Informatica, DataStage
- Strong project management/delivery skills; able to manage a consultant and/or 3rd party team Preferably experience with a distributed delivery model (onshore/offshore)
- Ability to gain instant credibility with clients
- Strong leadership skills, and able to operate in complex environments/projects, managing multiple stakeholders
Contract Duration: 6 months
