For our client in Munich we are searching for a System Engineer for the role below:
As member of the Application Management Team the Tasks will be:

Building up own expertise for SI and Middleware applications

Participating in problem management reviews

Supporting incident recovery activities
-
Build and install new application Servers under supervision of an experienced team member
-
Participate to project implementation and ensure operability of solution being deployed in production
-
Collaborate with Development and other operation groups focusing on delivering the best business outcome
Skills:
-
SOA architecture
-
Very good understanding of TCP/IP and communication protocols
-
Good understanding of Automation tooling (ULAM and OLA)
-
Good knowledge and proven experience with configuration management tool
-
Very Good understanding of Unix and Linux
-
Demonstrated proficiency supporting and coding in Java, Groovy, Scala or another similar language
-
Agile working methodology
-
Open source development methodologies and tools as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Cloudbees
-
Exposure to cloud systems and related ecosystem (CouldStack, OpenStack, AWS API, etc...)
-
Monitoring tools and concepts
-
ITIL best practices
-
Relational and NoSQL solutions will be a plus
-
Proficient English level
