Senior Transmission Integration Engineer - RAN/Transmission
This leading, global telecommunications company has a number of contract positions available for Senior Transmission Integration Engineers/Experts.
There are multiple positions available for senior level Transmission Experts with a background working on large scale networks. Experience of configurating RAN transmission and transport networks is required.
Key responsibilities:
- Product and system configuration in RAN Transmission networks/provisioning of connectivity between RBS-node and respective controller.
- Troubleshooting during integration and commissioning
- Support of Asp's and Operations and Maintenance staff
- Improve and execute the relevant swap procedures for RBS swaps and replacements
- Clarification of work orders and network planning functions.
- Investigations on actual configuration statuses
- Usage of the relevant OSS systems
- Usage of configuration databases ie. Cramer
- Experience working in a Back Office function.
Key skills required:
- Experience working on large mobile transmission networks
- Good understanding of SDH, PDH and Ethernet services in RAN transport networks
- Hands on experience in configuration and fault finding for SIAE microwave products, Ericsson/Marconi microwave products and Nortel passport.
- Hands on experience in configuration os a.m technologies through relevant OSS systems
- Deep knowledge of Cramer database
- Ability to work in an international cross functional teams
- Ability to document and communicate.
