Card Payments Consultant - Frankfurt
My client, a global financial company, is currently seeking a Consultant to join its professional services arm, to provide payments-focused consulting, marketing, information and risk management services to financial institutions and merchants worldwide. With its unique category expertise, deep understanding of customer needs and successful track record in addressing complex challenges throughout the payments life cycle, my client addresses the challenges and opportunities of its clients, enhances internal strategic and tactical performance and establishes its global thought-leadership pre-eminence.
Role Description:
Whilst this individual is expected to have some subject matter expertise in the payment cards industry, they will demonstrate extensive expertise in consulting engagements and professional problem-solving skills.

Contributes towards the development of strategies and programs for large, strategically important regional clients;

Implements/communicates strategies to achieve goals

Rigorously and logically identify issues covering entire client problems

Generates key hypotheses and independently structures work at the work stream or project level

Synthesizes analyses into clear, sound recommendations; takes responsibility for structuring and writing final reports and steering committee presentations from a works stream or project level - reviews reports to ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness

For some small to medium engagements, assumes overall project management responsibilities for projects - develops, defines and reviews required analyses
Education Needed:
Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred
Experience Needed:
4-6 Hands on Consulting experience from a top-rated consulting firm is highly desirable (eg AT Kearney, Bain, BCG, Booz & Company, McKinsey, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger), as is payments/bankcard expertise and experience helping financial institutions at the senior management level, with:
