IT Service / Solution Designer (m/w)
Beschreibung:
Our client, a leading financial services firm in Rhein-Main area is looking for an experienced IT Service Design Specialist.
Your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
• Provide forecast pricing for upcoming client requirement through Pre-Design
• Provide technical evaluation and guidance for infrastructure requirements for Pre-Design
• Provide technical application and infrastructure guidance for projects, ensuring alignment and with the existing data centre standards
• Working with the development and projects teams to gather an application development project’s operational and infrastructure requirements
• Engage relevant stakeholders (e.g. networks, engineering, operations) for Pre-Design Requirements
• Support Business case development through Pre-Design
• Assist clients in raising Service Design Requests
• Design or assemble appropriate technical solutions for Service Design requests within an End 2 End design process
• Analyse client requirements and provide solutions in-line with current engineered customer standards and IT strategies
• Document solution within workflow tools capturing both technical design plus build/configuration requirements - known as the Solution Design Package ( SDP)
• Create financial summary of the designs using available financial catalogue
• Ensure solution is operationally supportable - gaining approval from operations teams as necessary
• Ensure exception approval is gained where solution does not adhere to design principles (e.g. TRC exception, location placement exception, ISA Dev exception etc...)
• Co-ordinating Physical Capacity Allocation ( Facility, Network )
Anforderungen:
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills:
• Financial services experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in a national and / or international IT Infrastructure projects with focus on service design
• Sound and diverse knowledge of IT infrastructure
• ITIL certified
• Excellent English skills
• MS Office, MS Project
