My client is looking for a strong windows and Vmware consultant the ideal candidate should have experience in Data Centre.
Key requirements for this role are Systems Administrator, in a team supporting 1000+ Windows Servers. Excellent knowledge of Windows XP/NT/ OS. Compaq/HP Server Hardware platform (predominately DL & BL and C Class Blade series). VMWare/Virtual Centre experience of Firewalling Servers and opening ports with Network Teams. Experience of locking down access to Servers, using Policies, scripts or any other methods. Windows Server 2008 and 2012 Deployment, migration and build experience including Hyper-V, Clustering, failover etc. Experience implementing, operating. Experience implementing, operating, tuning and troubleshooting enterprise Windows Server operating system solutions. Windows Architecture TCP/IP WINS/DNS DFS Network Topologies Active Directory MS Security patch deploy (ideally Bigfix) Active Directory
