Role: Consultants (m/f) in the field of Finance & AccountingResources Global Professionals (RGP) is currently facing the increased request from our global clients for independent-, accomplished Consultants (m/f) to support our ongoing initiatives in the field of Finance & Accounting in Germany and Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:
•Participates in strategic planning, preparing and interpreting analysis that leads to the setting of strategic objectives and implementation plans
•Support the annual profit plan and periodic forecasting activities of the site
•Coordinates with other finance team leaders and members to analyze and interpret monthly, quarterly and annual financial results compared against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
•Provide all necessary support in the management and optimization of receivables
including the credit assessment process, pricing and payment terms, discounts,
monitor collections and management of overdue accounts receivable
•Effectively communicates financial results and the results of financial analysis to others within the organization, in small and large group settings
•Coordinates internal control monitoring and external and internal audits for areas within scope of responsibilities
Requirements:
•Minimum 8+ years of experience in finance and accounting that includes progressively more complex assignments or projects
•Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (US-GAAP/IFRS) and various financial analysis tools, such as discounted cash flows, activity-based management, and variance analysis
•Strong project management skills, interpersonal skills, and written/oral communication skills
•Skilled in use of computer software, systems and tools – SAP experience is a plus
•Ability to effectively lead cross-functional and cross-organizational teams
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and coach members on managing their priorities and tasks
•Fluent German and English language skills
