for an IT Business Analyst in Credit Risk Wealth Management with Business Objects Experience

Project environment

The worldwide used applications of the IT Credit Risk Wealth Management team of a global Swiss Bank are used to support our business in deriving the right credit decisions and monitor the credit usage in day-to-day business. The current initiatives include small/medium upgrades of the monitoring/decision application as well as further rollout of the next generation of credit monitoring application.


• Rollout of an Archiving Solution based on Java and Business Objects Reports in Europe.
• Guide the local IT teams through the installation.
• Upgrade of TMS to a new interface to Zeus.
• Coordinate Testing, 3rd level support in case of Product incidents.
• Coordinate the bank’s Processes - opening firewalls, exchanging certificates.
• Guide a set of small/medium initiatives to successful completion, which includes:
• Capture local requirements, draw context diagrams.
• Guide prioritization of requirements, drive discussion to agree on a release scope.
• Organize regular calls with the location and internal or vendor to coordinate the project.
• Request Testing platforms and advice on installation.
• Testing, Capture defects and issues & Sign off.
• Coordination of 3rd Level support after successful implementation.


The majority of the work includes coordination of rollouts abroad and requires especially:
• Business Analysis to understand the local request.
• Basic Technical Skills (WebSphere, Oracle, Java / having a basic idea what is required to migrate a Database) to guide locals through installation procedures and/or understand why something is not working and coordinate who and how that can be fixed.
• Project Management and Coordination with the location here in CH or with the development team in Singapore.

Further Requirements:
• Knowledge of Business Objects.
• Understanding of Banking.
• Good Communication Skills and Cultural awareness (dealing with other countries).
• Fluent in English (oral and written), German is a plus.
