Senior Solution Engineer VMWare (m/w)
Für einen unserer Kunden suchen wir Unterstützung für folgendes Projekt:
The VHS teams responsibility is engineering vSphere as a global shared platform for server and desktop workload. Currently the environment comprises ~2300 hosts and ~38.000 virtual machines.
Continuously improving the vSphere platform as well as introducing patches, new versions and automation, we are looking for a skilled vSphere engineer.
It is crucial that the candidate has experience working in virtual large scale, Enterprise environments as well does speak English fluently.
Project: virtualization platform improvements (4.1/5.1)
- Extend / improve functionality for the global 4.1/5.1 vSphere environment
- Analysis and documentation of global virtual infrastructure (English)
- Plan and execute test and pilot set ups
- Analysis of 3rd party SW for configuration management and mngmt of virtual infrastructures
- Development and implementation of solutions for configuration management
Required skill set:
- Expert / Certified in architecture and engineering of virtual infrastructures based on VMWare
- Expert, several years experience with the following products VCenter, VCO, VRA, SRM
- Good knowledge about automation of virtual infrastructures
- Good knowledge of other Hypervisors
- Scripting skills, PowerShell or Java (VCO)
- Language skills : German/English fluent/native
