Hi everybody, I am looking for a Software Developer to join our Front Office Fixed Income Trading Group.Responsibilities:
Development of decision-making and trading tools in the form of stand-alone applications and Excel add-ins (XLL, VSTO).
The main focus will be on an automated trade-sizing and allocation tool, consisting of a Oracle data layer, a C++ Unix Server and a C# Excel add-in.
Additionally:
- Improve the efficiency of the Trade Floor by developing ad hoc solutions to automate and optimize operational tasks
- Utilize and expand the capabilities of our Business Intelligence platform to deliver fast and appealing reporting and document-sharing solutions to the Front Office
- Gain knowledge of the whole system from Database to GUI, train and guide traders on how to best utilize the system
Required Skills:
Proven track record in Front Office software development
BS in computer science, SW engineering or other quantitative discipline
Solid SQL, preferably experience with Oracle
Confident C++ (with STL) and Unix (Scripting, Shell, vi, Perl, python)
Strong C#, .NET 4
Strong GUI design and development (win forms and WPF)
Ideally experience with Excel add-in development (Xll or VSTO)
Effective communication skills, dealing with both technology and business people.
Ability to work under pressure and with frequent interruptions
German language skills are not required as long as the candidate is comfortable living and working in Munich
Advantageous skills:
Familiarity with trade-floor operations
Basic knowledge in finance and Fixed Income products
NO REMOTE possible
ASAP for 6 months in Munich
