Task:The project will be delivered in four work packages:
- In WP1: ?Initial Target Architecture Development? our customer will develop (at least 2) alternative ?high level? IT target architectures derived from the business needs and taking into consideration first insights of the current IT environment of the client and their regional units. These initial architectures will be based on the definition of strategic goals, best practice collected from similar projects with other operators and reference IT architectures / architecture principle. Our customer will conduct a workshop with the client to discuss the Pros and Cons of the alternative solutions to come to a common view and get an initial estimate of needed time, budget and effort of the preferred solution.
- In WP 2: ?Subsidiary Impact Analysis? our customer will evaluate the as-is situation of the client and especially their subsidiaries in more detail, as the present situation in the subsidiaries will have a major impact on the solution. The results will provide a reliable baseline to design the final target architecture including realistic assumptions on the overall transformation environment.
- In WP 3 our customer will develop the final target architecture design including cost saving, quality & capability improvement as well as flexibility gain for future business evolution. Additionally we will deliver recommendations for vendor solutions (long/short list).
- In the final WP 4: ?Roadmap and Strategy Development? our customer will analyze strategic implementation alternatives and the optimal roadmap (prioritized initiatives & quick wins) for the transformation including 3 alternative investment plans for the coming three years. These investments plans will be presented to the client to discuss the Pros and Cons in order to come to the final implementation roadmap and investment plan.
Requirements (Must have):
- General knowledge in IT Strategy Development for an Operator, so should understand Telco Business
- Should certainly understand how Business parameters impact an IT architecture
- Should know IT Reference Models
- OSS/BSS know how
- Russian speaking
