Tätigkeit:- Apply the C-Data global project principles to the master data management strategy for the project scope, and will :
which Master Data entities will be managed centrally in a central MDM tool confirm the SAP solution fit
- Outline workflows for Master Data maintenance (but not detailed process steps)
- Outline the MDM Target Organization (Process and Governance)
This will be achieved through interactions which this consultant will need to drive, with:
- The Process streams to understand what the Master Data entities actually are, and (critically) what they require in terms of global and local views.
- client to understand the distribution requirements for Master Data in legacy systems
- client to understand the organization, ownership and controls required around master data
Anforderungen The final deliverable contains:
Master Data Management General Design which includes:
- MD Scope
- MD landscape
- MDM process
- MDM Integration flows
- MDM RICEFWs requirements
Data Conversion
- coordinated the capturing of the business data requirements as defined by SAP processes. These would include information on:
Use of specific data elements in source system and intended use of the data in target system
Data volumes, quality of data in Source systems
- Data conversion SME will define approach for data extraction, cleansing, staging and data uploading
This will be achieved by
- Confirm list of data migration objects by process area and define:
- Data cleansing, harmonization, enrichment requirement
- Data validation strategy
- Data migration strategy by object (manual, using migration tools etc)
The final deliverable contains:
Data conversion general design which includes:
- List of item data conversion objects and source systems
- Data Conversion strategy (approach & tools)
- Data cleansing strategy (approach & Tools)
