Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
für unseren Kunden suchen wir einen Solution Architect (m/w) WAN_UNIX, NT, Linux_VAX, Sun, HP.
Aufgabe/Umfeld:
Role
Verifies current mode of operation of virtualized customer IT and WAN connection. Creates a feasibility study and translates into a future mode of operation based on the current customer cloud solution.
Responsibility:
- Consults with the Project Manager and Account to define the scope and identify solution requirements.
- Writes high-level solution descriptions. Ensures that the solution design and architecture is accurately reflected in plans for:
-Due Diligence
-Transition
-Transformation, including the evolution of the delivery model.
- Collaborates with the customer engineers, other customer Solution Architects to develop an overall solution.
- Develops and delivers presentations on technical solutions to customer stakeholders and technical personnel.
- Screens and escalates design and architecture issues, as required.

Designed solutions
- are within scope and SLA objectives
- meet schedule and cost constraints, in both implementation and ongoing operations later on.
- clearly define deliverables, milestones, roles, and responsibilities.
- specify appropriate closeout criteria.
Written contributions to customer-facing documents are clear, technically concise, and understandable to business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or electrical engineering.
- Five or more years experience in technical solution design for complex IT environments
- Broad technical knowledge across multi-platform (UNIX, NT, Linux), multi-vendor (VAX, Sun, HP) operating environments, including data centers and distributed computing environments.
- Proven written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to cope with pressures of peak workloads, short deadlines
Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch.
Zur Einarbeitung ist ein Zeitraum von 4-6 Wochen vorgesehen. Einsatzort ist variable (remote), Böblingen wird zur Einarbeitung bevorzugt.
