A Renewable Energy client is looking for 3 Offshore substation Commissioning Engineers (OSS)/Technician to start immediately on a contract until the end of December 2014. These individuals will be focusing on offshore wind farm projects in Northern Germany, with offshore rotation being 14 days on/off.Task to be included:
Witness commissioning activities of OSS during offshore commissioning works
Defence of interests in the daily OSS implementation works
Internal communication of the daily OSS installation and commissioning status.
Witness commissioning activities of OSS supplier during site commissioning works in Aalborg
Support correct implementation of permitted works (PTW system) on OSS
Stay informed of the HSE & S system
React on observed nonconformities
Stay informed of the QA system and the procedures
Report non QA conformities
Witness documenting in reports and checklists, filing and forwarding of those reports and list
Witness commissioning activities of OSS supplier during offshore commissioning works
Participation in routine work offshore and onshore
Update of snag lists of snag lists with Bladt/Semco staff
Help train O & M team in close co-operation and sharing information
Daily reports of OSS - commissioning work
Knowledge transfer into Operations
Authority:
Authority to act on behalf of the OCM
Authority to instruct any person on site in case of violation of regulations or potential HSE &S risks
No authority to sign contracts
No authority to represent the project in public relations
No authority to declare formal acceptance of work
Education/Certification:
Electrical Engineer, or experienced technician.
Alternatively equivalent technical background with proven experience
Fluent German or English
Commissioning experience in relation power plants, infrastructure or offshore is a plus
Full offshore training according to training Matrix
