My client is an award winning mobile telecommunications operator in Germany. With more than 25 million subscribers they are the third largest mobile operator in Germany. For those who want to take their career further they have just opened a very exciting opportunity for Team Manager who will be leading a team of 4 internal test managers and 4 external test managers.
The candidate's day to day responsibilities will be
- Optimize continuous software testing processes in view of the commercial and technical risks.
- Application Development in the area you are considered competent partner for all IT projects with respect to the test planning, test specification and test execution.
- Achieve ambitious goals, develop your employees and motivate them to excellence
- In addition to maintaining a high quality of work, define test strategies firmly and ensure a smooth work flow.
- Keep an overview on the projects performance and also control the IT service provider.
The ideal candidate will have
- Successfully completed a technical degree or equivalent professional training with a focus on IT
- At least 5 years professional experience in software testing, experience in the telecommunications industry and knowledge on the construction of a test factory will be a plus.
- A proactive work style coupled with strong organizational skills.
- Ideally (first) experience in leadership and team development
- Good command of spoken and written (in English and German)
