Oracle DBA - Oracle Database Administrator - contract - Munich - English speaking Business environment
Essential skills:
- Oracle 10g/11g
- Oracle production support, 5 years + operational, experience of critical environments, high availability/high numbers of transactions
- Oracle RAC
- Oracle troubleshooting (using AWR/ASH)
- Oracle Data Guard
- Oracle RMAN
- Linux (preferably Red Hat) platform familiarity
- Unix (pref Solaris) platform familiarity
- Fluent English, written and spoken
Desirable skills:
- Scripting skills, Perl or Python preferred
- Experience of working in large scale environments
- Experience of working in multiple critical environments
- Experience of working on 10g to 11g migrations of advantage
Role:
You will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the Oracle databases.
Additional role requirements include planning, system development/tuning and troubleshooting
