SCOPE OF WORK
Due to various reasons multiple deviations from target design were found in the production mobile backhaul and aggregation network in the past.
Goal of the requested network optimization service is to verify network implementations against the target design and to improve the network quality.
The network optimization services can be separated into the following sub tasks:
- Network Optimization Project Setup
- Ongoing Network Optimization
- Optimization Tool Development and Maintenance
- Project Management
NETWORK OPTIMIZATION SET-UP TASK
Goal: Analysis and development the rollout organization for delivering better network quality as well as defining processes for network optimization
- Development of a process for implementing the identified network optimization tasks in the network
- Pilot deliverables in a well-defined part of the client's network.
- Compare KPIs before and after optimization
- Compile a list of lessons-learned from the optimization pilot
Rollout process assessment and improvement
- Assessment of rollout process in respect of gaps and weaknesses for achieving high network quality
- Specify, design and document changes to fill the identified gaps and/or compensate weaknesses.
- Pilot the rollout process in a well-defined portion of the production network
