PMO Specialist - Rhein-Main-Gebiet

Our client, a leading financial services firm in Rhein-Main area is looking for an experienced PMO Specialist.

Start: asap
Contract: initial 8 months with the view to extend
Industry: financial services

Key responsibilities:
• Generation of status reports for the portfolio, programs and projects
• Tracking and quality check of scope, milestones, deliverables, budget, risks, issues
• In depth reviews and status assessments of selected programs /projects
• Create financial reports for the program/ project portfolio
• Liaising with business management to ensure that clear and transparent financial controls are in place
• Preparation, coordination and execution of regular program/project review meetings
• Regular communication and guidance of program directors and project managers regarding their program/ project entries in clarity and sharepoint

Essential experience:

• Project portfolio management experience, especially with associated governance processes
• Strong PMO / project management skills,
• Experience of risk, issue and change management processes
• Strong experience of program / project reporting to a variety of different audiences
• Proven work experience and expertise in IT topics
• Financial services industry experience
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple teams across the globe in various time zones, hereby handling multiple tasks in parallel
• A self?starter with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Education to degree level or equivalent
• Excellent analytical skills and focused work attitude
• Excellent English skills (verbally and in writing), excellent German skills (mother tongue)
• Excellent Excel and Sharepoint skills
• Preferably knowledge of Clarity or any other comparable program / project governance tools
• Program, PMO or project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, PMI, P3M) would be advantageous
