Guten Tag,
wir suchen einen „Senior Linux Consultant for Belgium” (m/w).
IHRE AUFGABEN
· Total 8-9 years of core technical experience on Linux platforms
· Manage operational priorities and project requirements.
· Documentation and creation of knowledge base and procedures/work-packs
· Attending meetings, War Rooms, sessions.
· Supporting and troubleshooting Complex troubleshooting and co-ordination
· Handle escalated incidents and get involved in problem, change management
· Follow-up of performance and capacity issues
· Vendor management
· Perform/co-ordinate weekend/out-of-office hours interventions
(as per a pre-decided calendar)
· Perform On-call support after office hours (as per a pre-decided calendar)
IHR PROFIL
Mandatory Technical Skills
Should have a working Knowledge of the following:
· RHEL 4, 5, 6
· Linux knowledge equivalent to RHCSA or RHCSE
· HP / Fujistsu/IBM/ Dell HArdware
· Parallells Virtuozo
· VMWare
· VERITAS Cluster on Linux
· Ansible
Desired Experience
· Servers stating, provisioning and Post install (RHEL 5 & RHEL 6)
· Working with Various projects and co-ordination with project Managers
for deployment.
· Installing and configuring multipath- with SAN, and troubleshooting.
· Performance tuning of server in order to tune memory, cpu, load average
· Server(s) patching using RHN
· Managing Puppet server-2.7.23, class and groups and dashboard
· MII - Bonding configuration and troubleshooting (network failover)
· Hardware error troubleshooting and technical spoc towards Vendor.
· Configuring and managing System back-ups and recovery for servers,
and spoc for the same.
· Settingup and managing MySQL-5.0.95 Database (master and slave)
· Migration from physical server to virtual, and vice versa.
(RHEL 5 to 6 and RHEL 6 upgrade)
· Connectivity sheet preparation, co-ordination with DC.
· DNS and Firewall issue troubleshooting.

· Knowledge of typical processes and best practices ITIL or equivalent is an asset
· is able to work under extreme pressure during incidents
· is able to work on 3000 enterprise servers according very strict change management rules with a high focus on first-time-right (no incidents) , fast delivery (project delivery) and security of the servers ( all servers patched )

· English: Fluent ( Written and Spoken)
