Project environment
The Authentication & Crypto (A&C) stream of a global Swiss Bank is responsible for Application Authentication, System Authentication, Staff Authentication, Data Protection and Secure Key Storage Services. The User Credentials & Encryption Engineering team, as part of the A&C team, evaluates, engineers, integrates, documents and provides third level support for Staff Authentication and Data Protection services.
Tasks
- Planning, tracking, reporting and pushing delivery of work packages to deliver according to the agreed plans. Deliveries will include technical aspects together with process changes which must be sustainable with appropriate service structures, SLAs, governance and training.
- Driving the project forward in an assertive and independent manner in the face of stakeholder resistance, organizational complexity and technical risks and issues.
- Managing the project transparently and according to our project management framework (SDLC) with particular emphasis on the processes and seamless integration into the technical assets.
- Project tracking and financial reporting by using standard tools: eXtract, SharePoint, Excel.
- Stakeholder management and requirement management/prioritization.
Requirements
- A formal Project Management methodology (preferably Agile or RUP, SDLC).
- Experience with change management in a large company.
- Basic knowledge of the ITIL standards.
- Basic understanding of PKI, authentication and encryption technology.
- A good understanding of Directory Services (AD, LDAP).
- Familiar with financial industry and audit requirements with respect to Access Control and Identity Management.
- An understanding of web-based technologies and single sign-on.
- Windows, Solaris & Red Hat operating system knowledge.
Soft skills
- Effective communication skills via: chat, ticketing, email, video-conference, written documentation, telephone and face to face.
- Strong communications skills are essential in English (optional German) in order to liaise with stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment where English is the principal language of the business.
