Project environment
The IT organization "Credit Risk IT" of a global Swiss Bank is seeking a Oracle Database Designer/Developer for several Credit Risk applications (so-called monitoring systems, calculators and others) in Switzerland. The applications are based on the newest technologies in the areas of J2EE, Oracle and Unix (Sun Solaris).
Tasks
• As a member of the "Marts / Methodology Technology” team you provide database services and components (Oracle) to several credit risk applications such as RATING ENGINE (credit risk platform) and NHCE (Lending value calculation, security shock calculation).
• You are responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, test and 3rd level support of applications in the area of Credit Risk IT.
Requirements
Must have:
• University degree or longer professional experience (3-5 years).
• Experience in logical and physical data modelling.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Very good analytical and design skills and the ability to grasp complex business or technical issues in a structured and efficient manner.
• Good experience with Tools such as Toad and Power Designer.
• Skilled in tuning, debugging and troubleshooting of PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of UNIX (Solaris).
• Good knowledge of both written and spoken English and German.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Nice to have:
• Experience as DBA.
• Knowledge of Job Control systems (JCS).
• Experience in the area of credit risk management.
