About our client:
Our client is an international IT Service Provider. For an interesting project in Munich we are looking for several Infrastructure Managers.The resource is supposed to set up and administer the SAS Enterprise software on the project server. The initial set up will require 1 FTE within the first week of engagement. Afterwards the administration will require 0,1-0,2 FTEs (to be discussed)Your Tasks:
Ensure system scalability and reliability- Manage SAS system security and permissions
Create and maintain SAS user accounts
Support end users with access and connectivity issues
Manage data in SAS Libraries and Maps
Install SAS server and clients on user desktops
Serve as point of contact for request for services from SAS- Establish best practices for administering SAS environment
Ability to do capacity planning and forecasting
Ensure backups are taken and tested
Your qualification:
- IT Education (HTL, FH, University)
- Experience in the Infrastructure ( Network, Data, Environment)
Architect level understanding of SAS- Expertise in install, configure and maintain SAS software and 3rd Party databases like Oracle, MySQL, IBM Infosphere
Communication skills to effectively interact with peers- Industry knowledge: Automotive
Good teamwork and creativity
Preferred: Willingness to travel
