The customer is continuously improving the SAP functionality, mostly in form of small process and/or functionality enhancements and is currently developing improvements to the existing recruitment and staff appraisal process. Further, a SAP BO project covering also HR related reporting aspects has been started. The current number of SAP users is estimated to be ca. 500, including staff and consultants.

SAP users are grouped into three categories:

  • Employee Self Service Users (ESS). These users use ESS mainly for time and absence management, payroll statement, and in the future also for HR Planning and end user reporting.

Travel management, procurement requests, invoice acceptance, etc. related to other SAP modules. Most of these users also use SAP for reporting purposes.

  • Professional Transactional Users, who enter and maintain data and transactions directly in SAP ERP.

The role of the consultant will entail as a minimum:

1. To support the implementation of HR related process enhancements and projects by:

  • Supporting the Business Process Expert Coordinator in project coordination related activities, such as workshops, project meetings, etc.

  • Conducting activities such as testing of new functionality, supporting pilot implementations, roll-outs and similar activities in a project environment and providing respective feedback.
