Optics EngineerRoc Search are recruiting for an Optics Engineer to work for our client based in Koblenz for a 12 month contract.The purpose is to help customer in their DAS camera production. Define focusing parameters and optimize the values to suit the DAS application requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
*Should work on the camera focusing station and the related software
*Debug the focusing software and define the modular transfer functions
*To support the customer in camera alignments and calibrations

Essential Skills:
Education and/or Experience
*C / C++ programming skills.
*Lens design Tools
*Knowledge on Lens focusing, Good understanding of Lens parameters specifically on Modular transfer functions
*Excellent domain knowledge in active safety advance driver assistance systems.
*Indepth knowledge in camera systems.
*experience using any of the lens focus stations
*German speaking
