Senior RAN Engineer - DüsseldorfA Senior RAN Engineer is needed in Düsseldorf for one of our clients, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, on contract basis. Eligibility to work in Germany is a prerequisite for an application.
Responsibilities:
Product & System Acceptance – e.g. Tacc Acceptance, Product Introduction
System Integration and Verification of different RAN technologies
HW & SW Upgrades and Pilot systems
SRAN Product Introduction and Implementation in the field
Support of ASPs and O&M staff
Execute/ develop swap procedures for technology swaps/ replacements
usage of tracings and analysis using moshell, UETR and UEH
implementation and procedures on system upgrade/Swaps in RAN area
executes network investigations at a highest technical level
identification of the root cause of faults and offer effective solutions
trouble shooting RBS 6000
Handling/ Using of OSS Tools
configuration of NM parameter
part of the technical back office
travel to project and customer sites
Requirements:
Very good knowledge and relevant working experience with the Ericsson RAN Product family
Good understanding of Telecom Networks especially in 3G/4G RAN domain
Hands on experience on RAN nodes RNC/ BTS/ NodeB/ eNodeB etc.
Knowledge and experience of GSM/ WCDMA/ LTE
Ability to work in the field and guide field technicians
Ability to document and communicate
Solution orientated
German speakers preferred
