BSS Solution Architect - DüsseldorfA BSS Solution Architect is needed on contract basis for one of our international clients in telecommunications in Düsseldorf. Fluent German and English and eligibility to work in Germany are prerequisites for a successful application.
Responsibilities:
Analysing complex customer requirements and proposing E2E solutions in cooperation with the customer
Understanding customer needs and translating them into delivery actions to ensure highest customer satisfaction
Analyse customers process and tool landscape and provide a transition plan to improve efficiency
Selecting or proposing 3rd party suppliers/ products for the solutions
Following up the delivered products and solutions on an agreed regular basis with the customer to keep informed about the life cycle evolvement of the implemented customer solution
Taking responsibility and accountability for assigned pre-sales support work
Designing new E2E solutions based on the customer requirement
Technical lead of onsite and offshore teams
Qualifications:
MSC, MBA or equivalent work experience preferably in Telecommunications, Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
Extensive experience in service delivery, especially profound knowledge of SI in OSS domain and software engineering
knowledge of Ericsson BSS Product suite (e.g. Ericsson Multi Mediation, BSCS (LHS))
Experience with defining and optimizing Business Processes
Knowledge of TMF Frameworx, eTOM, SID, TAM; UML, OOA and OOD
Knowledge in ITIL
Good overview of Open Source communities and development trends
Good knowledge of SI Delivery processes (PROPS-C)
Service order management, fulfilment and service assurance
Experience of Amdocs Integration Framework would be a plus
Design of architectures for distributed software systems
Databases, especially Oracle, PostgreSQL, and LDAP
Competence in broadband, IMS, mobile and core networks
Experienced in all phases of a SI development processes, starting from requirements analysis, architecture evaluation and design, implementation until final acceptance test together with the customer
Able to lead teams (onsite and offshore)
Prepaid charging solutions - preferable Altamira
