PHP developer for multinational Institution in Bonn/Germany
We are looking for several PHP developers for a multinational client in Bonn/Germany.
Technical Expertise Required
- Assume responsibility for specific assigned features to be implemented in PHP
- Very Strong PHP development background, including Object Oriented programming
- Expert knowledge of web development in LAMP environment (Linux- Apache- MySQL- PHP).
- Expert knowledge of MySQL and MS-SQL databases
- Good Knowledge of Active Directory and PHP LDAP integration
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, XHTML/CSS
- Expert knowledge of JQuery
- Knowledge of Zend Framework and the MVC framework
- Good knowledge about secure development
- Knowledge on usability and accessibility guidelines, as well as multi-language matters.
- Knowledge of openCMS, Apache, Tomcat on Linux Redhat OS
- Very good understanding of business needs of a large decentralized intergovernmental organization
- Communications- Ability to speak and write clearly and effectively and effectively prepare specifications and other written reports documentation in a clear, concise style
- Teamwork- Very good interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations with people in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity
Location
The work may be done at any location, but weekly visits to Bonn should be anticipated
The minimum requirements for this post include:
Experience:
- Minimum of eight years of relevant experienced, of which 5 years as PHP developer for globally operating organisations/companies
Education
- Master's degree in Software Engineering, computer Science or other ICT-related studies
- Professional certification in software and database development is considered an asset.
Languages: Fluent English, and fluent in either Spanish or French.
