[Ref. SWX-4081]Windows Admin (Administrator Business Application Service) w/m
The Business Application Services is responsible for the operation of server based components of client / server applications on basis of released infrastructure components.
The responsibility includes the integration of new applications, updates and bug fixes for existing applications, the operation of application specific infrastructure components, as well as the necessary incident and problem handling. The tasks includes also the operation of client software products provisioned in a Windows Terminal Server environment.Responsibilities:
- Third level incident and problem management
- Second level incident and problem management of the application infrastructure
- Order management
- Installation of application updates and bug fixes
- Integration tests (test the compatibility of an application with other applications and affected infrastructure components)
- Documentation of all installations, changes, processes and product releases, CMDB updates
- Application specific monitoring
- Application migration (to new server or new operation system version)
- Downtime management within predefined downtime windows (e.g. Windows Security Patch Rollout)
- Installation, update and maintenance of client products on Windows Terminal Server
- Support upcoming design requests with application specific operational knowhow
- Communication with customer, application development and application vendor
- Rufbereitschaft 7*24 ca. alle 4-6 Wochen für eine Woche.
- Bereitschaft für Wochenendarbeit oder Nachtarbeit in Ausnahmefällen wie z.B. Updates, Downtime etc.
General:
- Working in an intercultural team
- Experience in Trouble Ticket System (HP Service Manager 7) , Knowledge of service management processes based on ITIL, Experience with SLA-oriented way of working, handling ticket system
- Fluent English in spoken and written form.
- Able to consult on technical designs and new features.
- Documentation (for example creation of Operation Manual or Standard Operation Procedures)
- Communication with customer, application development and application vendor Certifications
Mandatory:
- MCITP (Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008) Expertise in Business Application Environments
- Professional experience as IT System Engineer or equivalent Mandatory
- Experience in system integration of client / server applications Mandatory
- Project management
- Complex IT configurations Mandatory
- Working in a service level oriented operation Mandatory
- ITIL service management processes
- Scripting knowledge
