Aufgabe:Under the responsibility of the Director of Legal Services CORE EALA 1, the Legal Counsel, Regulatory & Compliance Operations ASG (Country Legal Counsel) provides general legal support to the ASG countries. The Country Legal Counsel provides legal support to Accenture?s Country Companies, joint ventures, and all other affiliates in the countries.
The Country Legal Counsel is part of the Compliance, Operations, Regulatory and Ethics Legal Team CORE EALA 1 (ASG, Gallia, Nordics) that focuses on company?s operations continuity and local compliance.
Contractors Detailed Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Director of Legal Services of Austria and Switzerland, the Country Legal Counsel collaborates effectively with the CORE EALA 1 Legal team by:
a) Providing general legal support in each of the countries;
b) Providing legal support to the local GS team, in particular, Procurement, Facilities & Services, Marketing, Recruiting, Finance, IO;
c) Supporting Debt Collection activities managed by defined Delivery Centers and ensure regulatory compliance in Germany;
d) Being part of the actions managed by the team to ensure compliance of local operations with local laws, within the framework of Accenture?s global compliance program;
e) Supporting the Global Compliance strategy and the related Global Compliance programs implementation:
1. help determine the local dimension and local feasibility of customers compliance programs;
2. contribute to local policy design and implementation, training, monitoring and auditing
3. Take part in the activities assigned to the Geo Local team related to the compliance programs
f) Collaborating with the Global Offerings Team on the debt collection activities;
g) Collaborating effectively with the local Labor and Employment and the Entity Matters team;
h) Collaborating with the ASG Legal Contracting Team and Contract Management;
i) Supporting Litigation & Disputes, Corporate Investigations and the Internal Audit team, as needed;
j) Taking part in legal education and training to the practice, to the other Compliance, Operations, Regulatory and Ethics Legal Services teams, and to the Contracting Legal professionals.
Anforderung:
Education: Fully qualified German Attorney (Volljurist) or equivalent law degree required.
Work Experience: 2+ years of experience as an attorney, in a corporate legal department or law firm; KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
? Deep knowledge of, or ability to understand, the relevant laws and also the work culture in the Regions (including those pertaining to compliance)
? Demonstrates excellent judgment, ability to prioritize, to make decisions and reporting
? Ability to work with a team
? Ability to work with personnel remotely
? Ability to work effectively with the most senior business leaders , managing partners from law firms, and the chief legal officers of Customers clients
