Network Engineer for CISCO routers and switches (Cisco, Splunk, Cacti and MARS)

The network engineer (for CISCO routers & switches) will analyze, design, test, and evaluate network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Internet, intranet, and other data communications systems.- Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning using tools such as Splunk, Cacti, MARS and Cisco works.- Utilizing tools, this position is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting issues on all aspects of systems and network hardware to include software support across IT locations and customer sites as required.- Work with other engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians and managers in the design, testing and evaluation of systems.- The engineer may also research products, recommend software/hardware and point out security glitches.- Consult with customers and conduct surveys to determine present and future user needs.

Erforderlich:
College degree in computer science or related field or equivalent; Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent; Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent; Experienced with Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000 and 2000 configuration.; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent organization skills; Valid passport and availability to travel internationality when necessary.; Ability to multitask and work under pressure to insure timely resolution of problems.; Must be available to work off-shift as required to perform maintenance or other duties as assigned.; Ability to work in a team environment and also work independently, Participates in on-Call rotation; Experience with ASA firewalls, firewall modules and Internet VPNâ??s.; Good understanding of SNMP tools such as CiscoWorks, MRTG, Netflow, Cacti and Splunk; Network Security experience in Cisco MARS, CiscoWorks NCM,
