Task description
- Implementation of new disks
- Attach SAN Storage
- Capacity planning for operational growth
- Exception reporting/alert for predefined file systems
- File cleanup for predefined file systems
- Request & Order New Discs
- Arrange for CE to physically add discs
- Backup archive files to tape and clear the directories
- Produce Backup Tape Schedules
- Manage Any Required Recoveries
- Verify/check backup procedures
- Arrange for special backups/restores
Skills
- Knowledge in Dataprotektor (6.21 -8) on platforms UNIX (HPUX und AIX), Linux and Windows
- Libraries(ESL G2 + G3, B6200, file)
- LAN, SAN, Networklogic
- UC4
- Strong language skills in both English and German
